Method

  1. In a pot overheat, add the oil, then sauté the onion, garlic, cinnamon sticks, and bay leaves until fragrant.
  2. Add the chicken, water, and salt. Boil until the chicken is fully cooked.
  3. Remove the chicken from the broth, brush it with tomato sauce, then place it in the oven until browned.
  4. Add the rice and butter to the chicken broth, and boil on high heat, stirring occasionally.
  5. Once it boils, reduce the heat and let simmer for 15 minutes.
  6. Add the milk to the rice and stir until fully absorbed.
  7. Transfer the rice to a serving dish, arrange the chicken pieces on top, and serve hot.

2 tbsp vegetable oil

1 Dari chicken, cut in half

4 large cups of water

1 tbsp salt

2 large cups rice

1 tbsp butter

2 cups milk
