Cooking Steps

Method
- Marinate the chicken breasts with yogurt, garlic, salt, paprika, mixed spices, black pepper, and olive oil.
- Place the halved large onion on skewers, then layer the marinated chicken breasts on top.
- Bake in the oven until the chicken is cooked through and nicely browned.
- On a serving plate, place the sliced white onion, then add the grilled chicken.
- Sprinkle sumac and chopped coriander on top.
- Serve the shawarma hot with bread or rice, as desired.

5 tablespoons yogurt
1 tablespoon minced garlic
A pinch of salt
2 tablespoons paprika
2 tablespoons mixed spices
A pinch of black pepper
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 large onion, cut in half
1 white onion, sliced
2 tablespoons sumac
2 tablespoons fresh chopped coriander
