Method

  1. Marinate the chicken breasts with yogurt, garlic, salt, paprika, mixed spices, black pepper, and olive oil.
  2. Place the halved large onion on skewers, then layer the marinated chicken breasts on top.
  3. Bake in the oven until the chicken is cooked through and nicely browned.
  4. On a serving plate, place the sliced white onion, then add the grilled chicken.
  5. Sprinkle sumac and chopped coriander on top.
  6. Serve the shawarma hot with bread or rice, as desired.

INGREDIENTS

1 pack of chicken breasts (Doux)

5 tablespoons yogurt

1 tablespoon minced garlic

A pinch of salt

2 tablespoons paprika

2 tablespoons mixed spices

A pinch of black pepper

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 large onion, cut in half

1 white onion, sliced

2 tablespoons sumac

2 tablespoons fresh chopped coriander
