Eng. Thamer bin Abdulaziz Abanumay
Chief Executive Officer
Thamer was appointed as CEO of Almunajem Foods in August 2017. He
has over 25 years of experience. Prior to AMF, Thamer was an
Executive Manager at Almarai.
He held various positions with notable
Saudi institutions including Al Rajhi Industrial Group where he was
an Executive Vice President from 2014 to 2016, and SABIC where he
started and built his career across various business divisions
including sales and global business in the polymers and functional
chemicals sectors'.
He was previously a member of the Board and the
marketing committee of the Board for the Saudi Petrochemical Company
(Sadaf). Thamer holds a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
from King Saud University.
Muhammed Salman Mehmood
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Mohammed was appointed in February 2023: Mr.
Mohammed has great experience in accounting and
auditing management. Before joining Almunajem, he
held the position of financial controller in the Olayan
Group’s General trading Company for two and a
half years.
He also worked for Deloitte & Touche
as an external auditor in the Kingdom of Saudi
Arabia. Pakistan and Qatar for more than 10 years.
Mr. Mohamed holds the membership of a certified
accountant in the Association of Certified Public
Accountants issued by the British Association of
Certified Public Accountants (ACCA).
Mohammed Ali Almunajem
Support Services Director
Mohammed Ali Almunajem was appointed as Support Services Director in
2010. He started his career in 1986, as an AMF branch manager prior
to becoming Deputy Director at Buraidah Foods Company in 1989.
Mohammed had been an AMF branch manager for over 10 years when he
was appointed Director of Administrative Affairs and Human Resources
in 2004. Mohammed has a diploma from Al Yamamah High School in
Riyadh.
Mazen El Danab
Procurement Director
Mazen has over 20 years of experience with Almunajem Foods having
started his career with the company as Assistant Director of Sales
in 1998 before becoming Director of Direct Distribution and then
finally Sales Manager of Direct Distribution, Wholesale and Food
Services in 2012.
Mazen holds an MBA and a Bachelor’s in Business
Accounting from the Lebanese American University in Lebanon.
Mustapha Mohsen Fawaz
Sales Director
Mustapha joined Almunajem Foods in 2009 as Sales Manager of the
Supermarkets Department. He then became Sales Director for the
Supermarkets and Direct Distribution divisions in 2013 prior to his
appointment as Sales Director.
He joined AMF from Alex GB, an F&B
company in Egypt, where he was Sales Manager. Prior to his time with
Alex GB, Mustapha held several positions with Poseidon SAR, a food
and fresh foods company in Lebanon, and Bank Audi, a private banking
company in Lebanon.
He holds a bachelor's degree in Business
Administration and Management from the American University of Beirut
in Lebanon.
Ali Fayez Khreis
Supply Chain & Logistics Director
Ali had been with Almunajem Foods for over 5 years when he became
Supply Chain & Logistics Director in 2014. He started off as a
systems analyst before becoming Deputy Director and eventually
Director of Warehouse Operations in 2013.
Ali joined Almunajem Foods
after a brief stint with the Intercontinental Phoenicia Hotel and
has a bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the
Lebanese International University in Lebanon.
Majed Mohammed Al Bakheet
Human Resources Director
Majed joined Almunajem Foods as Director of Human Resources
Operations in 2014 from Aljomaih Beverage Company where he had taken
on various roles in Human Resources since 2007. He started his
career in 2013 at the Prince Sultan Cardiac Center where he was
responsible for International Recruitment.
Majed has an Executive
MBA in International Leadership and Management from Al Yamamah
University and a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from
Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University.
Rabih Bouzeineddine
Chief Information Officer
Rabih has over 35 years of experience in computing and information
systems. Rabih joined Almunajem Foods in 2007 from Elissar
Technologies, a Canadian IT services and consulting company, where
he was Executive Management Advisor.
Prior to Elissar, Rabih had
taken on various roles with Canadian firms including, the Westrock
Company (formerly, MeadWestvaco Corporation) where he was Director
of Information Systems for North America, Twinpack Inc. where he was
Director of Technical Business Services, and General Electric
Appliances Company where he was Director of the Computing Services
Team, among others.
Rabih holds a bachelor's degree in Computer
Science from Eastern New Mexico University in the United States of
America.
Mohamed Attia
Quality Management Director
Mohamed has around 20 years of experience with Almunajem Foods
starting off as a Quality Controller for the Central Region in 2002
before becoming Head of the Quality team in 2004 and subsequently
Quality Management Director in 2011.
Mohamed started his career in
Egypt with Delta Food Factory, a food and sweets company, before
assuming the role of Production Engineer at Al Orouba Factory
(Basma) for frozen products, a frozen vegetables and fruits company.
Mohamed has a bachelor's degree in Agricultural Sciences from Ain
Shams University in Egypt.
Mazen Abdulwahed
Internal Audit Department Director
Mazen joined Almunajem Foods in 2016 as a Chief Audit Executive “CAE” after working 8 years with Ernst & Young where he became a Senior Manager in the Advisory Services practice. He joined Ernst & Young from RSM Richter, a leading Canadian Audit and Consulting firm, where he worked for more than 2 years. Mazen started his career in 1996 at Beirut Riyad Bank in Lebanon where he took on various roles and positions in Corporate Credit and other departments in the bank.
He has a bachelor's degree in Commerce – Accounting Major - from Beirut Arab University in Lebanon. Mazen is a Certified Public Accountant “CPA” from Illinois, USA, and a Certified Fraud Examiner “CFE”, and a Certified Global Management Accountant “CGMA”, and Certified Internal Controls Auditor “CICA”.
