Riyadh:

 In the presence of the CEO of Almunajem Group, Mr. Nader Ibrahim Alwehibi, and the CEO of Almunajem Foods Company, Mr. Ali El Zein, the Almunajem Ramadan Football Tournament concluded on Wednesday evening, 22 Ramadan 1447 AH, corresponding to March 11, 2026. The final match of the tournament cup was held between Almunajem Foods and Gulf Catering Food Factory, ending with a victory for Almunajem Foods with a score of 10–8.

The match took place in an atmosphere filled with enthusiasm, excitement, and competitiveness, characterized by strong sportsmanship. It reflected the tournament’s objectives of building bridges of communication and familiarity among Almunajem Group employees in a joyful competitive environment, while highlighting the importance of practicing sports.

At the end of the match, Mr. Abdullah Omar Bawazir – Group CFO – crowned Almunajem Foods with the championship trophy and gold medals, in addition to a cheque as a cash reward. Meanwhile, the runners-up team – Gulf Catering Food Factory – received silver medals and a cheque as a cash reward.

Trophies and cash prizes were also awarded for the tournament’s best player, best goalkeeper, and top scorer.

It is worth noting that the tournament witnessed the participation of six teams representing several companies within Almunajem Group. The teams delivered outstanding performances and exciting matches that reflected the spirit of fair competition among the participating teams. This initiative aims to promote a culture of sports and health, while building a more connected and interactive work environment among its employees.
