Almunajem Foods is the first company within the Group, continuing the same line of business established by the founder. Over the years, this activity has been developed and expanded, positioning Almunajem Foods as one of the Kingdom’s leading companies in the food sector.
Almunajem Foods specializes in the importation, marketing, and distribution of frozen and chilled food products, including poultry, meat, dairy products, olives, and olive oil. The company imports more than 350,000 tons annually from a wide range of international brands, capturing a market share ranging between 10% and 30%, depending on the product category.
The company operates an extensive network of branches across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including Riyadh, Jeddah, Makkah, Qassim, Dammam, Al-Ahsa, Hail, Jazan, Sakaka, and Tabuk. These branches cover a total area exceeding 200,000 square meters and provide a storage capacity of 58,000 tons.
Each branch is supported by a strong management structure, a highly skilled sales and marketing team, and a large distribution fleet of refrigerated vehicles in various sizes, totaling up to 1000 trucks. Almunajem Foods employs approximately 2,300 professionals across multiple disciplines, including sales, logistics, engineering, administration, and quality management.
Almunajem Foods is a subsidiary of Abdullah Al Ali Al Munajem Sons Company, a closed joint-stock company. The Group’s activities span investments in food retail and wholesale, catering services, health and diet foods, food production, industrial refrigeration, as well as the restaurant and real estate sectors. The Group’s operations cover all regions of the Kingdom and employ around 15,000 male and female employees, including Saudi nationals and professionals from more than 20 Arab and international nationalities.
